What is »archive solaris«?

This is a personal website meant to be both a blog, a note taker, and a way of grouping information together that I think I'd like to look at again in the future. Most likely thoughts on books I read, events that happen in the world, colletions of cooking recipes, image collections, events I want to attend. Stuff with some practical side to it, so it does not get too masturbatory like a vulture circling around the few original thoughts I do get.

To-do

Design

• Make color-mapping for cargo tags. E.g. "#literature" becomes blue.
  • Colors should be subtle and blend in nicely with the background
• For pages with images, it might be fun to have a sidebar to the left dsiplaying them, kind of like a vertical film tape (but not styled like film tape).

Functional

• Create a commenting system
  • Imagined as a simple sqlite database with some custom service on top.
  • Anon submissions, no logins or accounts
  • Should be pretty simple, good opoortunity to learn a new language to build it in too.
• Create a guest book
  • Ties together with the commenting system, should just be the same service
• Page metrics might be fun. Just number of unique views.
