Google Cloud Fraud Defense
Seems like Google has announced the Google Cloud Fraud Defense, or »next evolution of reCAPTCHA«. Basically the next step in advancing the Internet towards a more centralized and less anonymous place. There are definently advantages to this, better protection against what I like to call the background radiation of the Internet: The millions of automated and bot requests hitting every publically exposed server and router every moment of the day. When the Internet becomes so hostile, that you need protection to host anything, it is just a sad step backwards from civilization to barbarity - the only way to retain Order is through centralized power. I think we are looking into a future of harsher requirements to do just about anything online. Won't be long until VPN's are restricted and age verification enforced.
